4th Jan 2017 Karimnagar

On the occasion of International Blind Awareness Day, Vikasa Tarangini, Karimnagar organised Multispeciality Health Camp in the Govt Blind School Karimnagar, in association with Chelmada Ananda Rao Medical College. About 67 (37 boys and 30 girls) students and staff were treated freely . Free medicines were given and fruits were also distributed. Five students from Govt Blind School Karimnagar joined Nethra Vidyalaya Junior college run under the guidance of Sri HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji at Sri Ramnagar, Samshabad, Hyderabad. K.sushmitha 4th class student sung a song in the camp who was a participant in Padutha Thiyaga program in ETV. Dist VT members and all VT chapter members attended the camp.

Nethra Vidyalaya, founded by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, provides free, holistic education to visually impaired children — empowering them to live with dignity and self-reliance. Swamiji’s constant aspiration is to empower every student to become self-reliant and lead a life of dignity, without dependence on others.

Our students write exams on laptops, have marched in NCC Parades before the Governor, and shine in sports, athletics, and cultural events — embodying Swamiji’s vision of true independence.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our students, the guidance of Swamiji, and the generous support of our donors and volunteers.
