Educational Institute of Visually Challenged

NETRA VIDYALAYA DEGREE EXAMINATIONS – 5th batch (2014 to 2017)

Education is the manifestation of the individual to promote humankind and upsurge perfection that is already in person. A quality based education provides standards and promotes harmony. Conversely examination is an analysis to appraise the knowledge and ability of a student to promote him/her to higher standards. Examination decides the student’s prospects. A stringent inflexible examination is the only measurement to assess the student.

Netra Vidyalaya Institute provides “JAWS’ a far-fetched technology to the students for tutoring and giving the examination. JAWS (Job Access with Speech), a world’s most admired screen reader allows visually impaired users to read the screen with a text-to-speech output. Laptop is the HH Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji’s gift to the students. Swamiji blessed the students with a new life for the best outcome. Netra Vidyalaya is a self-center institution like other colleges in the university jurisdiction. Students give the examinations within the college premises. University Degree Annual Public Examinations for B.A. and B.Com commenced from 20.03.2017. Examinations continue up to 07.04.2017. At present 5th batch (2014 to 2017) students of Netra Vidyalaya are giving the examinations.

Prameela III B.A. Student comments with gratitude towards Swamiji like, “Never dreamt that I will take my examination on a laptop without the help from a scribe. Thank you Swamiji and Netra Vidyalaya for making me self-reliant”.

In general, an individual experiences examination at every stage for the accomplishment of life. Conversely, Sri Aurobindo an Indian nationalist, philosopher, yogi and poet regarded examination in a diverse view. He assumed, “He, who would win high spiritual degrees, must pass endless tests and examinations. But most are anxious only to bribe the examiner.

Divis Laboratories Donate Laptops to Blind Students

Nethra Vidyalaya, founded by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, provides free, holistic education to visually impaired children — empowering them to live with dignity and self-reliance. Swamiji’s constant aspiration is to empower every student to become self-reliant and lead a life of dignity, without dependence on others.

Our students write exams on laptops, have marched in NCC Parades before the Governor, and shine in sports, athletics, and cultural events — embodying Swamiji’s vision of true independence.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our students, the guidance of Swamiji, and the generous support of our donors and volunteers.
