Nethra Vidyalaya Degree College is situated amidst lush green, peaceful, inspiring location at JIVA campus in Hyderabad, India. The college is a haven for degree college students who are enthusiastic but are economically backward and blind. The college is run by administration and staff who is passionate about enabling the students to be independent, skillful, technically capable and ultimately happily productive contributors to the world despite their impairment.
The Nethra Vidyalaya Degree College was established on the 5th July 2010 upon the request and enthusiasm of the outgoing students from Nethra Junior College.
College offers B.A , B.Com and BBA courses. B.A has History, Political Science and Economics courses. B.Com includes Information technology, C, C++ languages as well.
The college has affiliation Osmania University. Netra Vidyalaya is the only English medium Educational Institution in India for Visually Challenged students wanting to pursue a degree. The outgoing students have secured jobs in various streams such as banking, telecom, teaching, navy, gazetted positions, and in collector offices
Who can Join?
Any student who has successfully passed out of Class XII is eligible to join. The student must have 40% or more blindness to apply for the admission.
