College can be tough for everyone but it can be especially challenging for people with a visual disability.
Such people earn a bachelors degree at a rate less than half that if people without a visual disability. They have to work hard than everyone else.
In JIVA campus, Nethravidyalaya students takes this challenge with a smile and with the confidence gained from the utmost care and braveness provided by our HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, these students mastered the art of facing any hurdle and achieving the goal.
Though these students use screen readers, they can have trouble translating various graphics, charts, tables, drawings and mathematical formulas. And if a professor draws on a white board without explaining the image or text, a blind student can quickly become lost.
Crossing all these challenges, Degree students of Nethravidyalaya have astonished the college board after accomplishing 100% pass percentages in the final year exams conducted on May-June 2019.
V.Srinivas B.A final year student has cleared his college with 9.43/10 GPA in semester and 9.16 GPA as his overall CGPA.
Yaddula SudhaRani B.Com final year student gained 9.33 GPA in semester and 9.29 GPA as her overall course GPA.
