State level sports & Games meet for disabled

“WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY” – Our Netra Vidyalaya Students proved that through their hard work, they can achieve anything in any field if they are trained and encouraged in a proper way.

Our Netra Vidyalaya Junior College students participated in state level sports and games competitions conducted by the department of Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizen, Telangana state at GMC Balayogi Indoor stadium on 30-11-2019 and 01-12-2019. PWDs from 33 districts participated in two days event. Sri Koppula Eshwar, Hon’ble Minister for SC Development, Minority, Disabled & Senior Citizens Welfare, inaugurated the said sports meet.

Our Junior college students stood first from Rangareddy district and bagged 9 gold medals and 1 silver medal. Our students also got appreciations from A.D, Smt. Shailaja of Rangareddy district.

Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji distributed certificates to the winners and participants and offered Mangalasasanams for their bright future.

Nethra Vidyalaya, founded by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, provides free, holistic education to visually impaired children — empowering them to live with dignity and self-reliance. Swamiji’s constant aspiration is to empower every student to become self-reliant and lead a life of dignity, without dependence on others.

Our students write exams on laptops, have marched in NCC Parades before the Governor, and shine in sports, athletics, and cultural events — embodying Swamiji’s vision of true independence.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our students, the guidance of Swamiji, and the generous support of our donors and volunteers.
