Under the able guidance & Direct supervision of Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, Netra Vidyalaya Junior. & Degree College staff, students & committee members celebrated the World Braille Day at Saroornagar Indore Stadium, Hyderabad on 4th January 2019.
The World Braille Day is celebrated every year on Jan 4th to recognize and respect the efforts of Louis Braille. It was his simple yet effectual invention that made it possible for blind people to read as well as write.
Nethra Students performed classical & folk dances, sang group & solo songs. Students presented a short and sweet ballet on Bhagavadgita and got appreciations from each and everyone.
Telangana Sports Authority Managing Director Sriman Dinkar Babu, IAS along with his team Sriman Venkateshwar rao & Bhaskar ji were humble to allow celebrations at the indoor stadium. Also Students from Venkateswara Degree College, Bhadruka College, SUPC School and Shantiniketan School attended and came together to raise awareness towards blind people and to help them stand equally with the rest of the world.
Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, Sri Sri Sri Ramachandra Jeeyar Swamiji, Sri Sri Sri Devanadha Jeeyar Swamiji participated in the program and blessed the students.
Program ended with vote of thanks and prayer.
