Every month Youth 4 Jobs aims to reach a little closer to its dream of creating a casting impact on the lives of persons with disability.
Youth for Job is the largest organisation in India which focuses on skilling and placing youth with disability in jobs. It works with less educated youth from villages for entry level jobs in companies. College Connect a new pioneering program, assesses trains and places educated engineers and graduates with disabilities in MNCs and large IT companies. The work has scaled from 1 state to 14 states from 1 location to 32 locations in 6 years and has gained National and International recognition.
Extending their support to Nethravidyalaya final year degree students, youth4jobs has organized a training workshop. The workshop was inaugurated with the blessing of HH ChinnaJeeyar Swamiji and Sri Sri Sri Devanath Jeeyar Swamiji.
Meera Shanai, chairperson of Youth 4 Jobs, & Gopi nath garu participated in the inaugural session. Sriman Subbaraju garu, Smt. Krishna Kumari, Smt. Gayatri, Smt. Ramadevi – Committee member of Netra Vidyalaya also participated in this program. Smt. Shanai, Kumari Shiva priya, Smt. Rani, Sriman Shiva mohan are giving the training for three months.
The training team, over the weekend, has interacted with the students and given training for creating E-mail. The training includes exams to check the progress of the students. This is a three years long challenging program.
