On World Disabled Day i.e 3rd December, Nethra Vidyalaya Students received the medals and certificates from Honorable Education Minister of AP Sri. Adimulapu Suresh and Honourable women and child welfare minister of AP Smt Taneti Vanitha.
On the occasion of World Disabled day, Government of Andhra Pradesh conducted district level sports meet on 27th November, 2019, for all the differently abled categories individually at Police barracks ground, Visakhapatnam. In Visually Impaired Category, 33 students participated and won 51 prizes and out of which are 24 first prizes, in running, shotput, discus throw, long jump ( standing and running ).
Those who won first prizes in district level are selected to participate in State Level competitions in Vijayawada from November 30th – December 3rd, 2019. Our students participated in 24 events and secured prizes in 23 events.

Three of our students got a chance to play in Visakhapatnam Cricket team and won the trophy. Our player Gopala chari is the key player in winning the trophy.
Two of our Nethraits, Mr. Gopala chari and Mr. Ravindra selected in Andhra Pradesh Ranji team.
