Announcing yet another great achievement of Netra Vidyalaya students who went to Guntur on 7th November, 2017 to participate in Allergan Southzone School Cricket Tournament for the Blind – 2017 conducted by Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled at Guntur from 8th November, 2017 to 10th November, 2017!!
Fourteen students from our Nethra Vidyalaya formed a team and competed with Vijayawada and Bangalore and came to Finals and played with Guntur Team and Won the TROPHY. In all the THREE matches, our students, P. NAGARAJU, A. VAMSI and A. GANESH secured MAN OF THE MATCH. Our Team Captain A. GANESH won the MAN OF THE SERIES. The Association has given a prize money of Rs. 3,500 for ‘Man of the Match’ winners each and Rs. 10,000/- Cash Prize for ‘Man of the Series’ winner. It is a remarkable and memorable event for the school and all the students bagging the CHAMPIONS TROPHY and the Medals!
The Principal and the staff are all thankful to the wonderful generosity of the donors and supporters of this institution. Above all, the students conveyed their gratitude to Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji for encouraging them in every step of their life till the date!
