Varija Blind Students celebrates international yoga day

The United Nations has declared 21st June as the international Yoga Day, which will be celebrated all over the world.

For JIVA campus everyday is yoga day. However to respect this special day, Nethra Vidyalaya celebrated international yoga day at Varija inviting four schools from mangamaripeta Saraswathi school, ZPHS govt School, Sampath School, Vasishta School.

Students from all schools gathered in varija and celebrated the day by knowing the importance of yoga and performed suryanamaskara ,other basic asanas.

Yoga is required to be healthy physically and mentally.

Kids were encouraged to do yoga everyday.

Nethra principal along with her team of teachers organized the program very well with the blessing of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.

Nethra Vidyalaya, founded by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, provides free, holistic education to visually impaired children — empowering them to live with dignity and self-reliance. Swamiji’s constant aspiration is to empower every student to become self-reliant and lead a life of dignity, without dependence on others.

Our students write exams on laptops, have marched in NCC Parades before the Governor, and shine in sports, athletics, and cultural events — embodying Swamiji’s vision of true independence.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our students, the guidance of Swamiji, and the generous support of our donors and volunteers.
