National Atlas & Thematic Mapping Organisation(NATMO) – Ministry of Science and Technology, Kolkata – members Sriman Patroji, Sriman Aditya conducted a workshop on Monday 17th of September in Nethra Varija.
After the workshop they provided some material to our social teachers Ms. Indira and Ms. Maduri. The study material consisted of India maps (soils, population, crops, etc) and world maps.
On 18th morning a competition was held for the students at 10:30. There were 10 teams, 3 students in each team (A-J). Three rounds were conducted. The first round was on geography, the second was on GK and the last one was on map-identifcation.
All the teams did well and were given participation certificates. Team ‘A’ showed excellent performance.
The final results will be declared after completing the competitions all over country. The finals will be conducted in Hyderabad.
