During their visit, the team gained firsthand insights into the mission and activities of Nethra Vidyalaya, a unique institution dedicated to empowering visually challenged students through quality education, technology-enabled learning, skill development, value-based education, and holistic growth.

A highlight of the visit was the interaction with Mr. Naresh, an alumnus of Nethra Vidyalaya who currently serves as a Senior Manager at Canara Bank. Sharing his inspiring journey, Mr. Naresh spoke about overcoming challenges through determination, education, and the blessings of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. He explained how the support and guidance he received at Nethra Vidyalaya motivated him to pursue higher education, including an LLB degree, and build a successful professional career while supporting his family.

The TEKsystems delegation appreciated the institution’s commitment to creating opportunities for visually challenged students and enabling them to achieve their full potential. They expressed admiration for the achievements of the students and alumni, which stand as powerful examples of what inclusive education can accomplish.

Following their visit to Nethra Vidyalaya, the delegation also visited the Statue of Equality, where they paid homage to Bhagavad Ramanujacharya and the 108 Divya Desams. They appreciated the monument’s message of equality, inclusiveness, and social harmony, values that continue to inspire service-oriented initiatives across society.

The visit concluded with an interaction with HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, who shared insights into the humanitarian, educational, and social welfare initiatives being undertaken through Vikasa Tarangini. Swamiji also highlighted the accomplishments of Nethra Vidyalaya and its students, including their remarkable performances at national-level competitions.

HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji graciously offered His Mangalāśāsanams to the TEKsystems delegation and appreciated their interest in initiatives that create meaningful social impact and contribute to building a more inclusive society.

The visit served as an inspiring opportunity to showcase how education, empowerment, and compassionate service can transform lives and create lasting change for visually challenged students and their communities.

Nethra Vidyalaya, founded by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, provides free, holistic education to visually impaired children — empowering them to live with dignity and self-reliance. Swamiji’s constant aspiration is to empower every student to become self-reliant and lead a life of dignity, without dependence on others.

Our students write exams on laptops, have marched in NCC Parades before the Governor, and shine in sports, athletics, and cultural events — embodying Swamiji’s vision of true independence.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our students, the guidance of Swamiji, and the generous support of our donors and volunteers.
