Anil Kumar, B.Com student of Nethra Vidyalaya graduated in the year 2016. He cleared Panchayat Raj junior secretary exams in the first attempt. This exam takes multiple attempts for regular students. Anil completed his Inter and B.Com from Nethra Vidyalaya. He passed out with 88% and 89% respectively.He then persuaded his higher studies of MA-English from Osmania University.
Speaking to the press he said, “I will forever be thankful to Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji who gave me the courage and poise with best quality education at Netra Vidyalaya. My family did not spend a single penny on my education at the institution”
It was HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji’s guidance that enhanced his confidence to achieve his goals. It was the care and dedicated teachers of Netra Vidyalaya that helped him to achieve this success. Netra Vidyalaya taught him to use laptop and write exams with the help of JAWS. This ability made him feel independent and skilful.The students always sang, ‘అంధులము కాదు, ఆత్మ బలా సూరులము…’ [We are not blind, we are strong souls…] and its proved once again!
His achievement is another feather in Nethra Vidyalaya’s hat. Goal of Netra Vidyalaya is to see these children be raised in holistic environment, joyful state of mind, skilled, patriotic, and ultimately a responsible human being.
